Philip Escoffey has been fascinated with people or more specifically understanding what motivates and moves them, for as long as he can remember.
This fascination led him to a psychology degree and subsequently, a relatively short career in marketing.
Since 1999, he has focused his obsessive passion into two specific areas; the first is as mind reading enfant terrible, the grey man.
The grey man is an entertainer who has taken the concept of reading minds and influencing behaviour to it’s extreme conclusion. It is an entertainment, but what
he does is live, interactive and powerful and even the most sceptical onlookers are left wondering what they now believe to be possible.
The second area is as a professional sceptic, rationalist and communication specialist. In this capacity he has appeared on various television and radio shows offering more logical and plausible explanations for the bizarre and often seemingly paranormal phenomena that people lay claim to year in year out. Often, only with a deep understanding of how people function, can a clear explanation of certain “inexplicable” occurrences be found.
By combining the communication skills of the performer with his sincere curiosity in why people do what they do, say what they say and think what they think, Philip is delighted to have developed with Poisson Rouge - The Mind Reading Challenge, a unique team development experience for enhanced communication.
Philip is 38 years old and lives in London.
