COMMUNICATION & PRESENTATIONS WORKSHOP FOR OFFICE DESIGN, FIT OUT AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT COMPANY

The Client

A leading specialists in office design & fit out, project management, refurbishment and furniture.

Offering a full design consultancy for major building and refurbishment projects in the City of London and Nationwide - it was deemed essential that the company’s sales and project teams were powerful and effective communicators.

The Challenge

Poisson Rouge were tasked with providing a day of communication training which would not only focus on the needs of the individual but would also engage the group and provide interactive sessions resulting in an observable improvement in communication skills by the end of the day. – A big task!

The Experience

After a short introduction and warm up session participants were each tasked with delivering a pre-prepared presentation to the group that was filmed.

The middle part of the day was filled with activities and discussion around vocal abilities, posture, body language, building rapport, active listening and questioning before the original presentations were then critiqued.

With all they had experienced in mind the participants prepared new versions of the speeches and presentations they had given at the start of the day. Once again this was presented to camera after which the films were watched, the improvements were identified and individual feedback given.

The day wound up with the participants completing individual action plans.
