The colourful Insights profiling tool is one of the fastest-growing in Europe – and not without reason!
Following a 15-minute online evaluator, a 23-page profile is produced, unique to the individual and often described as “spookily accurate”. It describes your strengths, possible weaknesses, value to the team, communication preferences, blind spots, opposite type, suggestions for development, motivators, ideal environment and management style.
Combine this with an enjoyable, participative, non-threatening, thought-provoking and inspiring team workshop and you have an event that is guaranteed to get your team buzzing.
Following an Insights profiling workshop your team will be talking in positive ways about:
High-performing teams tend to be made up of individuals with different behavioural styles. Within these differences lies the potential for conflict, miscommunication, dysfunctional working relationships, de-motivation – and consequently reduced productivity and effectiveness – but also tremendous strength. The objective of using insights is in the first instance to recognize, acknowledge, understand, value and then ultimately celebrate these differences.
In continuation of Poisson Rouge’s mission to make available all the best tools and processes available for developing people Poisson Rouge has teamed up with a great bunch of people at The Colour Works, the biggest users of Insights in the UK.
Key reasons for considering insights as the development tool of choice include:
| Accessible | easy online tool leading to a comprehensive and unique personal profile |
| Understandable | experiential learning workshops grounded in practical observation and participation – ‘now I understand why …!’ |
| Memorable | once coloured up, never forgotten |
| Applicable | simple strategies that are easily transferred back into the workplace – IMMEDIATELY |
The Insights model is made up of 4 distinct, complementary colour energies of behavior based on the psychology of Carl Jung. We all use all 4 energies but to differing levels. Check out your preferences from the picture above. The evaluator measures your usage of these energies from both a Conscious and Less Conscious perspective, identifying possible stress levels. It plots you on a 72-type wheel, taking care not to ‘box’ and stressing ones natural flexibility at all times. The ‘Team Wheel’ allows an understanding of the strengths, weaknesses and possible gaps of the team as a whole.
