This event is inspirational and exciting and guarantees to get the participants talking about the events for months after the event.
Guests are invited to attend a champagne cocktail party. On arrival they are greeted by hosts and hostesses and invited to select a glass of champagne from specially prepared trays. They quickly notice that each champagne flute is numbered with a coloured sticker.
Before they are able to drink they are also informed that if they look closely there is a 1 carat diamond in the bottom of each glass. Of the 500 glasses, 499 of the diamonds are zircons or paste diamonds with a street value of less that £0.50). However, one of the stones is a certified diamond of significant value (we suggest about £1000 but this is entirely up to you)
Around the room are occasional tables with Jewellers’ callipers, eye-glasses, gem lamps, black cloths and other assorted equipment associated with diamonds and gems.
Delegates then get to take part in a game in which they must try and work out who has the real gem. Finally, through a process of elimination the winner is found and they get to keep the diamond The winner is then presented with a validation certificate.
This event lasts from 20 minutes to 1 hour.
