WINE CHALLENGE

This activity has one great big advantage over many of the activities we do at Poisson Rouge - it involves wine -a subject close to the hearts of many!

Working in teams - delegates first learn to appreciate the finer points of tasting and distinguishing between different types of wine.

Then, assuming the role of wine producer, each team must actually blend, bottle, cork, foil and label a brand new wine that they have created themselves.

Finally each team must present their new product to the rest of the group - inviting them and the panel of judges to taste their new wine, hear their marketing plan about who will buy their wine, how, where and why they will buy it, before finishing with the presentation of an advert with jingle that has to be presented either live or recorded to digital video.

This activity explores product development, teamwork, communicating and is great fun, very commercial and a fabulous platform for team development.
